The Little Dippers Swim Academy was founded by Renee A. Vanselow. Renee is currently pursuing graduate studies towards a Masters Degree in Recreation Management from the University of Wisconsin- LaCrosse. Her Bachelors degree was obtained from the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee School of Allied Health, Department of Human Kinetics in Community Recreation. She holds the "CPRP", Certified Park and Recreation Professional status from the National Recreation and Park Association. Renee has been a swimming instructor since 1983. She has studied under Rob McKay of the Lifestyle Swim School in Boca Raton, Florida, who is one of the leading authorities on child-centered swim instruction. Renee is a National Swim School Association certified Infant/ Toddler Swim Instructor.
Renee is an American Red Cross certified Instructor for the following courses: Water Safety, Lifeguard, Waterfront & Head Lifeguard, First-Aid & When Help Is Delayed, Professional Rescuer CPR, AED, Basic Water Rescue, and Preventing Disease Transmission and an Instructor Trainer for Babysitters Training and First-Aid/CPR/AED. She attended the National Aquatic Management School conducted by the National Recreation and Parks Aquatics Section. She has participated in the Aquatic Emergencies Seminar conducted by Lifesaving Resources, Inc.
Renee is an Aquatic Exercise Association certified Instructor. Additionally, she is a certified Aquatic Facility Operator, from the National Recreation and Parks Association and a Certified Pool Operator, from the National Swimming Pool Foundation.
